On the north end of the arcing beach and bay of Acapulco, you find the cruise terminal, the fishing, tour and SCUBA dive boats, and the On the south end of Acapulco Bay, you find the high rise hotels restaurants and beach-side clubs.

For RVers and Long Distance Bike Travelers Pie de la Cuesta, just north of the city on Route 200 offers camping on a five mile barrier beach area where you find beach resort campgrounds for tents and RVs. Local buses run every 10-20 minutes from the one main street to the city of Acapulco.
