Grand Teton National Park , just south of Yellowstone, is dominated by the 12,000 and 13, 000 foot peaks of the Teton Range.

Thirteen peaks over ten thousand feet make a spectacular image reflected in the lakes. Glaciers cover parts of the mountains year round.

Description
Teton Valley's Summer Fest in Driggs, Idaho takes place each July 4th weekend.  The Balloon and music event is in its 14th year

During the July 4th weekend the area celebrates with hot air balloons rides within the Teton Mountain Range. The balloons launch early in the morning and make their slow ascent for views of the Teton Range.
The organizers start the event with a dinner and live bands to welcome the ballooners and guests. Local restaurants provide food to welcome the holiday visitors. Balloons fly all during the festival taking passengers for

The festival includes fiddlers contest, a rodeo,  and  fireworks.
There are also Craft Fairs and art shows in the area and displays of Antiques.

Thursday, July 2, 2009  The Balloon Launch Dinner will be held at the Teton County Fairgrounds, 7:00PM

Friday, July 3, 2009   The Seniors West Breakfast at the Fairgrounds Building from  5:30AM to 8:00AM
IN the morning  Hot Air Balloon Launch  6:00 AM

There will be an  Arts & Crafts Show at Victor City Park starting at  9:00AM and running to 6:00PM
An Antique & Fine Arts Show will be at the town of Driggs from 9:00AM to 6:00PM

The Annual Balloon Launch Dinner is  $25.00
Hot Air Balloon Ride are $200.00
