Moab,Utah is 30 miles south of Green River and 112 miles west of Grand Junction, CO.
Moab Utah offers some great hiking that will present great views in a wildly tortured landscape shaped by the elemental forces of the Colorado River, the wind, and millions of years of sediment, uplift, folding, faulting, and earthquake.
You will
hike through an eroded landscape of petrified sand dunes and stratified layers of red, that spreads over a huge area of Moab and makes an inspiring hike.
