Slot Canyons are underground conduits for rain waters and can flood during thunderstorms. The Navajo who run Little Antelope slot Canyon will assign you a guide who will accompany you (discreetly) during your trip through the canyon. In an emergency they will lower rope ladders but it is best not to enter when there is any threat of storms even when the storms are miles distant.

Reach Antelope Canyon
From Phoenix or Las Vegas head towards the Grand Canyon North
Rim and the Marble Canyon area.
Take a right at Antelope Pass before you reach
Marble Canyon and climb to 6,533 feet
elevation to the scenic view. There you will have a great view of the valley of the Colorado River.
Once over the pass, glide down a long slope towards Page, Arizona

Once in Page Arizona you see the stacks of the Navajo Power Plant on Route 98. The chimneys are near Antelope. Take a right on 98 and follow the road toward the power plant. Watch for Little Antelope Slot Canyon on your left before you reach the power plant.
